Bee Shore Honey is partnering with Save Barnegat Bay to bring you a free “Smart Yard ~ Healthy Bay” program. Come on out for a information session on The Honey Bee! Save Barnegat Bay is hosting this event at the Brown’s Woods Eco Center. Join Bill MacCormack, local beekeeper and member or Central Jersey Beekeepers Association and he discusses the components of a hive, equipment needed and how we can help protect the honey bee and other pollinators.

Wear your best swashbuckling outfit and have some fun at this year’s Pirate’s Day in Barnegat! There will be a Pirate Re-enactment Crew, Live Music and Vendor Fair as Pirate’s Day invades Historic Barnegat. Two stages, pirate-themed kids’ games and a vendor and craft fair fill the tree-lined streets in the center of town. As always, Pirate’s Day is a free event to attend and enjoy.

The workshops were designed to provide in-depth information and tools that you can use as you follow the steps to a Jersey-Friendly Yard. During registration, attendees had the opportunity to choose which workshop to attend during each of the three morning sessions. Some presenters have graciously provided their presentations to share on this site.
