Bee Shore Honey is partnering with Save Barnegat Bay to bring you a free “Smart Yard ~ Healthy Bay” program. Come on out for a information session on The Honey Bee! Save Barnegat Bay is hosting this event at the Brown’s Woods Eco Center. Join Bill MacCormack, local beekeeper and member or Central Jersey Beekeepers Association and he discusses the components of a hive, equipment needed and how we can help protect the honey bee and other pollinators.

Annual Barnegat Bay marsh clean-up conducted by the Junior Sailing Program of the Barnegat Bay Yacht Racing Association (BBYRA) and Save Barnegat Bay. Each participating Yacht Club selects the youth’s favorite local marsh and plans to rally hand picked trash and debris to their coach boat and then landward to the Club or municipality for proper disposal.
In 2018, over 390 individual sailors removed 57 bags of trash from our beloved, sensitive marsh areas. All 12 clubs in the BBYRA participated! Our goal for 2019 is to host a bay-wide clean-up…including all the clubs in the south bay too!

The workshops were designed to provide in-depth information and tools that you can use as you follow the steps to a Jersey-Friendly Yard. During registration, attendees had the opportunity to choose which workshop to attend during each of the three morning sessions. Some presenters have graciously provided their presentations to share on this site.
