The World Duckboat Championship, conceived by the junior sailors of the Mantoloking Yacht Club in 1969 and continually hosted for 50 years since, is one of the iconic annual events on Barnegat Bay. It is a happening, a celebration of the heritage of Barnegat Bay and wooden boat building.
It is one of the few Championship regattas where junior sailors can race and compete directly with some of the best senior sailors on the Bay. Many who have moved on from our waters return each year just for this event.

Save Barnegat Bay had a fantastic time at the 2018 inaugural Sea.Hear.Now Festival which was produced by Danny Clinch of Between The Sets, and C3 Presents, the team behind Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits Music Festival, Shaky Festivals and more. With feet in the sand, fans enjoyed music on the beach with more than 25 bands on 3 stages at North Beach Asbury Park and Bradley Park.
We hope to be a part of the 2019 festival and to see you there too!
