Save Barnegat Bay will have a table display at this year’s Annual Fall Conference of the NJ Native Plant Society. Come out and learn about NJ Natives, Jersey-Friendly Yards, and which plants to use to attract pollinators like bees and butterflies.
The Native Plant Society of New Jersey is a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to the appreciation, protection, and study of the native flora of New Jersey. Founded in 1985, we have hundreds of members across the state, and are organized into county and regional chapters.

The Annual New Jersey Watershed Conference is an educational event that aims to advance knowledge and communications on issues related to water quality and quantity across the state. We welcome attendance from environmental professionals, nonprofit organizations, government officials, and interested members of the general public.
The conference will feature a variety of presentations from local experts on watershed management, stormwater, green infrastructure, and the problems and solutions related to the health of our watersheds.

New Jersey is Fertilizer Free between November 15th and March 1st as per the strictest fertilizer law in the Nation. Written by Save Barnegat Bay and passed into law in 2011, the Fertilizer Law outlines the content requirements of fertilizer sold in stores, requires landscapers to hold a fertilizer application certification from Rutgers, and other protective measures.
