Celebrate the NJ Pinelands at the Pine Barrens Jamboree! Enjoy music, food, crafts, vendors, and environmental organizations throughout the day. Save Barnegat Bay will have a table of information inside the main tent.

Save Barnegat Bay will be giving a presentation to Stockton University students during the Ocean Planet Class. We’ll be discussing how they can become more involved in the advocacy campaigns and education and outreach work we do.

Our Student Grant Program begins its 9th year in May! Students have been selected to conduct water quality research in the Barnegat Bay this summer, so keep your eyes on the water for them!

Go Wild! Native Plant Workshop @ Island Beach State Park

Join a Save Barnegat Bay Plant biologist for a workshop on native plants and her research on dune grasses at Island Beach State Park. You’ll learn which natives are best to plant along the barrier islands and which are the best for pollinators. The presentation will end with a walk along the trail by the Interpretive Center.

A presentation will be made by our Water Quality Team focusing on sampling results of the storm-water draining systems into Barnegat Bay. Our Student Grant Program has been running for 9 years and has provided research opportunities and funding to 54 students.
