Our eco-kayak tour with Lavallette Yacht Club will feature both a naturalist-lead tour of the sedge islands as well as a seining (sampling) activity for the kids! We’re hoping to see some incredible wildlife while out on the water.
Save Barnegat Bay will be presenting its newest program “Barnegat Bay Stewards” to the members of the Rotary Club of Great Bay. Members will have the opportunity to create a stewardship project that benefits the bay and its watershed.

Save Barnegat Bay will be providing naturalist-led activities to both kids and adults through our Champions programs. We’ll be seining (sampling) with the kids right from the bay, then taking the adults on a kayak tour near their community. We hope to see some incredible wildlife and catch some awesome species!
Barnegat Bay Stewards is coming to Barnegat Light! We’ll be presenting to the Barnegat Light Taxpayers Association about this exciting opportunity to give back to the bay with a community-wide service project.
Save Barnegat Bay will be guiding students from Northern Highlands High School on an eco-hike through several ecosystems on the deCamp Trail. This trail is part of the Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge. Students will also be participating in a trail maintenance cleanup as well.
