Save Barnegat Bay will be recruiting spring/summer interns at this year’s Career Fair at Monmouth University. We have opportunities in advocacy, environmental education, communications and marketing, website design, videography, and public outreach.
The Barnegat Bay Partnership is hosting a Spring Science Symposium at Ocean County College! This event is about using science to guide management, build awareness, and improve stewardship today and for future generations to have the greatest positive impact on the Barnegat Bay and its watershed. Join the Sierra Club and Save Barnegat Bay as we reflect on the third anniversary of Sandy, what happened, where we are now, and where we are going in the future. Guest speakers include: Jeff Tittel, Director of the NJ Sierra Club, Gene McColligan, Ecologist and former Environmental Manager at FEMA, Dr. Richard G. Lathrop, Jr., Rutgers University Professor, and Brian Donohue, Star Ledger Reporter on Sandy.
Save Barnegat Bay will be joining the public at the Barnegat Bay Research Forum, sponsored by our partner organization the Barnegat Bay Partnership. Come out and hear the resent research from NJDEP scientists, as they delve into the health of the bay, stresses to the environment, and new management strategies. Registration is required.
