Upcoming Events
This Way to Barnegat Bay! is coming to Toms River Intermediate North again! This time we’ll be teaching 7th graders that in a watershed, all water, debris, and pollution flows from upriver to downriver. They will see how what they put on their property can affect their neighbors, especially those that live closest to the bay.
This Way to Barnegat Bay! will be at Bayville Elementary School teaching 2nd graders about stinging sea nettles in the bay. The students will get an opportunity to craft their very own “non-stinging” nettles to take home.
Join Save Barnegat Bay’s plant naturalist at the Island Beach State Park Interpretive Center and learn about different native plants. Take home a pressed plant for your collection.
Save Barnegat Bay will be teaching all about horseshoe crabs and Barnegat Bay during Clara B. Worth’s Extended School Year summer school. Students will construct their own craft horseshoe crab to take home.
Join Save Barnegat Bay’s plant naturalist at the Island Beach State Park Interpretive Center and learn about different native plants. Take home a pressed plant for your collection.
Save Barnegat Bay will be presenting a fun, hands-on activity for the kids at this year’s LBIF Summer Camp!
