The Commission is established for the protection, development or use of natural resources, including water resources, located within the territorial limits of the Township of Jackson. The Commission shall have power to conduct research into the use and possible use of the open land areas of the Township and may coordinate the activities of unofficial bodies organized for similar purposes and may advertise, prepare, print and distribute books, maps, charts, plans and pamphlets which, in its judgment, it deems necessary for its purposes. It shall keep an index of all open areas, publicly or privately owned, including open marshlands, swamps and other wetlands, in order to obtain information on the proper use of such areas, and may from time to time recommend to the Planning Board plans and programs for inclusion in the Master Plan and the development and use of such areas.

the regular meetings of the Mayor and Council of the Borough Point Pleasant Beach will be held on the following Tuesdays in 2020 at 7:30 o’clock in the evening, prevailing time, in the Municipal Building, 416 New Jersey Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach, unless publicized to be held at another time or location during the year 2020. A caucus session will be held at 6:30 o’clock in the evening prior to each regularly scheduled meeting, unless otherwise advertised to the contrary.

Responsible for approval of subdivision plats, site plans, or conditional uses. Variances, public drainage way, flood control basins, building or structure in the bed of a map street or public drainage way. Issuances of a permit of a building or structure not related to a street. Making and adopt and from time to time amend a master plan for the physical development for the Borough of Tuckerton. Administers the provisions of the land subdivision ordinance and site plan review ordinance.
