The committee meets on 2nd Monday of each month at 7 PM in the Municipal Building, 416 New Jersey Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach, during the year 2020, unless publicized to be held at another time or location. Changes will be posted to this web site.
Meetings are open to the public.

The Environmental Commission has the responsibility to make recommendations regarding the local actions of its governing body, planning board, bd. of adjustment, and bd. of health. A commission is the only body on the local level whose mission is to defend the natural systems – the threatened & endangered species, the air & water supply, the animals & plants that add richness to the community. The Commission’s job is to make sure the environment doesn’t get overlooked in the municipal decision-making process.
