Save Barnegat Bay Student Grant Program – Summer Research 2013 Presentation

The Save Barnegat Bay Student Grant Program supports research on Barnegat Bay with a focus on post-Sandy studies this summer.  Six students will be presenting their research findings including a study on the building of dunes at Island Beach State Park, diamondback terrapin nesting ecology on Sedge Island, a Barnegat Bay bottom sediment study with the USDA – Natural Resource Conservation Service, and a water quality assessment along Barnegat Bay from Seaside Park to southern Island Beach State Park.

Presentations will take place on Friday August 9, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Seaside Park Tri-Boro First Aid Squad (61 J Street, Seaside Park.)  The presentations are open to the public.
