The Interpretive Center At Island Beach State Park is in need of volunteers to staff the Center thru the summer season. The center houses the Emily deCamp Herbarium and other exhibits explaining the natural and cultural history of Island Beach. Volunteers keep the Interpretive Center open and answer questions for visitors. Training for volunteers will be provided. Approximately three hours per week is the norm with both morning and afternoon positions available on weekdays and weekends. The hours are 10 AM thru 1 PM and 1 PM thru 4 PM.
